There could be a host of reasons why all your MIDI devices in your MIDI signal chain are not working. Some reasons could be:
Your controller is connected to the Editor
Some functions are blocked in the controller when it is connected to the Editor. Some examples are Bank Jump, Toggle Page, Keystroke, MIDI Clock. This can be disabled. You can find more info here: Bank Up/Down/Toggle Page Functions Not Working
Your Preset setting is wrong in your MC3/6/8.
