Replacing the foot-switches on your Morningstar controller is a relatively straightforward affair. If you ordered a switch directly from us, the wires do come pre-soldered so there is no soldering required when replacing the switch.

Switch Types

We sources foot-switches from 2 different suppliers. If getting a foot-switch from us, we’ll usually ask for a photo of the switch on your controller first so we know what replacement to send. The switches are both SPST (Signal Pole Single Throw) NO (Normally Open) Momentary soft-touch switches. If you can solder yourself, you should be able to easily procure the switches from other vendors as well.
